Denis Rowe SPPA, AIC, PCLS

Mr. Denis Rowe, AIC, SPPA, PCLS, is the Managing Member of Franklin Property Claims, LLC. He has been involved in property insurance claims for almost twenty-five years and is a licensed public adjuster in Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida.

Growing up in Kansas with his eight brothers and sisters, his family had two devastating fires in their home. The experience his parents went through gave him a unique perspective that today fuels his drive to ensure that all victims of a property loss get a fair and full settlement.

Before starting Franklin Property Claims he was a partner with The Howarth Group where he earned the following designations: Associate in Claims (AIC), Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA), and Property Claims Law Specialist (PCLS). Mr. Rowe spends considerable time utilizing his accumulated knowledge by reviewing estimates, policies, declaration pages, and engineer reports. His primary focus is on damage to commercial properties, with a particular interest in hail damage to the roofs of those kinds of buildings.

Mr. Rowe and his wife of 38 years (Nancy) reside in Franklin, TN. They have two sons, Colin and Conor (who is a partner with the company). When not working, Mr. Rowe is an active member of Stephens Valley Church (with a particular interest in missionary work in Africa and India), a booster for Pearl Cohn High School in Nashville, and a past treasurer for the Tennessee Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. An avid reader, his other interests are rooting for the University of Tennessee football and basketball programs, playing golf, and, of course, playing with his one-year-old grandson.

Hank Stoppelbein SPPA, AIC

Originally from Charlotte, NC, Hank graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After moving to Nashville in 1985, he served as an Area Director with Young Life ( a non-denominational outreach to high school students) for about twelve years. Soon thereafter, he began his second career in property claims consulting and is now in his twenty-fifth year.

After almost 15 years at The Howarth Group, Hank and his two partners founded Franklin Property Claims and together continue to serve the needs and interests of policyholders across the South. His compassion and sense of justice help him treat clients as he would want to be treated if the shoe was on the other foot.

His rich understanding of residential and commercial claims comes from hands-on experience and continuing education. Hank realizes that our clients are typically overwhelmed with the claims process, so he will spend whatever time is necessary to ensure they receive all the benefits their policy affords them. He earned his AIC (Associate in Claims) and SPPA (Senior Professional Public Adjuster) credentials years ago, placing him in the top 1% of all adjusters nationwide.

He spends his downtime with his wife, Merrill, their four daughters, and two grandkids to relax. Hank enjoys songwriting, playing guitar, a little golf and a lot of pickleball. His favorite charities are Young Life, Wounded Warrior, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Church of the City in Franklin, TN.

Rossana Plep — Inventory Specialist

Rossana was born and raised in the “melting pot” city of New Orleans, LA. Prior to moving to northern Alabama in 2017, she lived in Texas and Minnesota. Having much experience with hurricanes and flooding, she is no stranger to the devastation and loss caused by catastrophes. While in Louisiana and Texas, she witnessed first-hand the frustrations of dealing with insurance companies at the very time when people needed their help the most.

Rossana’s desire is to make a difference by assisting people during stressful and unfortunate circumstances. Her background in office administration and internet research paved the way for her to be able to help people on a deeper level. She enjoys her work as an inventory specialist at Franklin Property Claims because she finds helping families recover from life-changing catastrophe a way for her to walk out her faith in a very practical and rewarding way.

Rossana is married to her high school sweetheart, and they have three sons. She and her family are active in in their local church and community. Her entire family are nature enthusiasts who especially enjoy hiking in the mountains or along one of the local lakes or rivers. She also enjoys vegetable gardening, tending to her flowers, and cooking.

Administrative Assistant & Marketing Support

Alison Besch — Administrative Assistant & Marketing Support

Born and raised in the northeast part of Tennessee in an area called the Tri-Cities, Alison graduated with High Honors from both her high school and local community college. Not long after marrying her husband Rick, they moved in 1993 to Huntsville, AL. There they were blessed with two children of whom they are very proud and are thankful to be living in the warm and friendly community surrounding north Alabama.

Following a 30+ year career in Sales and Marketing, Alison was ready for a change of pace and found an opportunity to take her organizational skills to come work alongside Denis, Hank, and Conor. She feels at home with the level of care and concern they have for all our clients, as that has always been a top priority with her.

When not working she loves traveling (nationally and internationally), reading and volunteering at her church in community outreach.
